What Is Taekwondo?
It is a Korean martial art that involves a lot of kicking. Tae – means to kick or foot. Kwon – means to punch or fist. Do – means art, way or method. In short Tae Kwon Do means a Martial art with Foot and Hand Techniques.
Taekwondo is one of the most systematic and scientific Korean traditional martial arts, that teaches more than physical fighting skills. It is a discipline that shows ways of enhancing our spirit and life through training our body and mind. Today, it has become a global sport that has gained an international reputation, and stands among the official games in the Olympics.
KRTA is one of the affiliated academies in Puducherry region under “Puducherry Taekwondo Sports Association”. We are providing various training program for all genders and age groups, our classes are handled only by the experienced and certified coaches. we also provide regular assessments results to our the costumer with their performance result and the opinion from sports physiotherapist and sports nutritionist to enhance their performance.
